Beaumont’s Plea for Clothing Recycling

As a nation we produce around 2 million tonnes of clothing waste every year. It’s estimated that over half of this ends up in landfill via household waste. At present only 16% is recovered, whilst 21% is unaccounted for in what’s assumed to be the “national wardrobe”.
